Mrs. Mary Butson. The funeral took place on Friday of the late Mrs. Mary Butson, of Windermere Road, Blackpool, who died at her home the previous Tuesday. Mrs. Butson, who was 80 years of age, was a native of Brierfield, but had lived in Blackpool for forty years. She had not been well for some time, but her last illness was brief. She was the wife of Mr. Thomas Butson and the mother of Mr. Clement Butson. Mr. Leslie A. Butson, and Miss Marjorie Butson. Mr. Clement Butson, now partner and a director of Thomas Arnold. Ltd., was formerly entertainments manager of the Blackpool Tower and Winter Gardens Companies, and Mr. Leslie Butson is a Blackpool estate agent. She was connected with Holy Trinity Church, South Shore, where a service was held on Friday at 2-15 p.m., before the burial at Lytham St. Annes Park Cemetery. The service was conducted by Canon F. B. Freshwater. Vicar of St. Stephen's-on-the-Cliffs, North Shore.
